You don’t have to pretend you’re fine.

I help people carrying grief or burnout keep showing up for the work and people they love, without pretending they're fine.

90 minutes. No pitch. Just support.

Life can be exhausting. And 'just be positive' doesn't help.

You're carrying a lot. Maybe it’s a recent loss. Or work is crushing your soul. Change has you feeling untethered. It could be grief you’ve been shouldering for a long time.

The usual advice? "Think positive." "Practice self-care." "Just power through."

That's toxic positivity. And it doesn't work. You can’t just push or think your way out of the moments of real exhaustion. It's about seeing clearly, naming what's true, and choosing what's possible from there. That is the work we do together.

I'm Adam. You Aren’t Supposed to Have It All Figured Out.

I don't have it all figured out either. But I've seen things, learned things, and know how to be with people who are figuring it out, too.

I help people carrying grief or burnout keep showing up for the work and people they love, without pretending they're fine.

I started building Optimistic Coaching in 2024. Teaching, talking, and training about resilience, optimism, and positive approaches to change. That same year, my wife Stacey died from a rare disease just 84 days after her first symptoms.

In August of 2025, I came back to the same work, with renewed commitment. Not because I had all the answers—but because I learned (and am still learning) what it means to hold both grief and purpose at the same time.

It’s not about grind culture. It’s not about formulas. It’s practices you can come back to time and time again.

Here Is How It Works:

Step 1: BOOK YOUR FREE CONNECTION CALL
We'll spend up to 90 minutes together. No pitch, no sales call. Just real connection and coaching.

Step 2: WE WILL EXPLORE WHAT’S STUCK—AND WHAT’S POSSIBLE
You'll share what's on your mind. We'll do actual coaching. I'll help you see things differently.

Step 3: YOU WILL WALK AWAY WITH A NEW PRACTICE
Whether we work together once or for a season, you'll leave with at least one new perspective or practice to meet you where you are.
